All Blacks Crush Australia in Tri-nations Opener

What a spectacular way to kick off against the Aussies in the first tri nations 2010, and I mean "kick off" how many times did we win the ball back from the kickoff!Spectacular precision kicking by the clothing magnate and great running by the front to get the ball back on the black side. Just this part of the game made the Aussies look a bit out of their league, and kept me captivated yes captivated, you heard it here first.

Granted there was the charge down from Drew Mitchell who is very quick on his feet when he is not sitting on the sideline, in his defence I don’t think he should have been sent off but these things happen.

There was a bit of luck at the other end of the field but that was completely overshadowed by the piece of pure genius that was created at around the 12 minute mark. With the AB’s out to the right the Aussie’s just could not contain the Brad Thorne and the back line. Cory Jane then somehow stayed in play as he levitated over the sideline, chipped the ball inside sucked in two of the defenders leaving a clear run for the birthday boy Mils! Mc Caw's try was truly inspirational as stepped and weaved his way to the line. What can’t Richie do! Nothing!

I am not going to walk you through each try and yellow card just have a look at the YouTube video below.

It was a great all around performance by the All Blacks but the Aussies were closer than we think, a man down for more than half the match, a couple of suspect decisions from the ref. I feel sure we would have won but I think that Shake would have been much closer in his punting prediction of within 12 points.

My prediction is that in Christchurch on Saturday we will crush them so that it is clear that the score line last weekend was not a mistake (it certainly didn’t look that way to me)as discussed by the post game show commentators on fox.  The final score this week the All Blacks’s by 36  - 23.
