Aren't the Crusaders being punished enough by a travel schedule that has them criss-crossing the Indian Ocean with out being lumped with Stu Dickinson as referee for their semi final against the Bulls in Orlando??
 
As soon as I saw he was going to referee their game against the Stormers at Newlands I knew there were in trouble.  And he didn't disappoint!  A technical penalty from the kick off set the scene & we had the works at the breakdown & the scrum through out the first half.  He was more than keen to play a starring role on the stage that is a full house at Newlands.
 
At least he's a "neutral" ref & they have avoided a repeat of the Marius Jonker shocker 2 weeks ago.  Forget the forward pass at the end he just doesn't let a dominate scrum operate.  We've seen it so many times from him its becoming a joke.
 
I'll stop now as this could go on for hours but don't expect Mark Lawrence to give the Waratahs much help at  Newlands this week either.
