Not even bothering to wait a full day before luring in un-suspecting victims with offers of available world cup tickets at 1.5 times the officially advertised prices, some sites in Europe seem to be offering what is currently not available - actual tickets to actual games for the 2011 event.
 
The NZ Herald reports that they are investigating the www.euroteam.net site to identify what is going on, is it a scam or just optimistic thinking!?! Anyway to toe the party line the right place to buy the tickets is at the official world cup site.
 
It does crack me up that they are bleating about them getting a top spot on Google paid search!! Its called paid advertising you can do it too World Cup People (yes yes i know you are, its an auction though you need to be highest bidder)! Having said all of that the worldcup2011.com site which is an UNOFFICIAL one looks pretty much like the world cup site to me! So just be careful out there!
 
No one likes to be scammed on tickets though, you should be early enough at this stage to get the normal allocation at the right price. Stay Lucky!
