Seems the NZRU & even the mighty Counties union might be getting involved in the global auction for Sonny Bill Williams conducted by his dubious agent Khoder Nasser, who can yell "Show me the money" louder than most.

While there is no doubting he is a fantastic player, he has been injured for most of his 2 seasons in France & is still learning to play the game.  He also had a history of injuries in the NRL as well.  The final thing that counts against this is that Steve Tew is for it.

I doubt anything will come of it & he will end up playing for Toulon or a English league side.  Still it would be great to see him striding out at Pukekohe Stadium on a regular basis!
