Ticket Registrations are Open for RWC 2011

In 7 minutes time the tickets will be available (well pre-reg) for Venue and team packs anyway.

http://tickets.rugbyworldcup.com/default.aspx is the place to go and i am sure there will be a lot of interest in the main venues.

My suggestion is start planning accomodation now for the big fixtures as the vultures will be out for your hard earned cash come game time.

Any idea's for alternative accommodation near any of the venues leave in the comments below or log it in the forum.
My mate "the wolf"! could have some space if you play your cards right, being female and hot will help!

Kia Kaha and good luck!

It was easy to get carried

It was easy to get carried away with this as I plan to take the whole 7-8 weeks off work to follow the Cup.  I'm currently in South Africa awaiting the FIFA World Cup (as it is officially known) & if the hype in NZ is going to be anything like it is here then it is going to be something special (and here they don't even expect their team to get past the first round).

I decided on the Eden Park & North Harbour venue packs.  The quarter finals was a tough call with the likely line up being;

Wellington -   Australia v Wales   &   South Africa v Ireland
Christchurch -   England v France   &   New Zealand v Argentina.

As much as I love watching the All Blacks traipsing all the way down there to watch them play the Argies does not appeal a lot & I have seen the Poms play the French at the last two World Cups.  The possible line up of matches in the Capital appealed more.

In the end I hedged my bets & will see what develops.  A lads trip to Christchurch to watch the All Blacks might be the only thing that can get me down there.

Now its wait until end of June to see what I end up with.

Got something to say about rugby? DO it here!
