Finally the international powers that be have listened to the fans & have reinstated meaningful tours & test series to the schedule.

 
Well it appears that way but dig a bit deeper & it appears that there is no guarantee of mid week games against a Hannan Shield selection or the sterner likes of North Auckland, etc.  Also South Africa & Australia won't be coming here for three test tours & they (apart from the Lions & maybe the French) are the real big drawcards.
 
Also what is the likelihood of European clubs releasing their players during the off season for a tough 3 weeks in NZ or SA or Aussie for that matter?  After all the Euros & Sterling they have invested they might not be so keen on the idea.  Will the IRB have the clout to enforce country over club?  Don't hold your breath.
